GeckoCap is an MIT based startup, founded by Michael Chiu PhD and Yechiel Engelhard MD. The company develops tools to improve medication adherence with an initial focus on pediatric asthma. We offer a unique solution based on direct monitoring, games and social tools that motivate kids, engage parents, and inform clinicians. The product includes a smart button that attaches to any inhaler. It provides reminders to the child and tracks usage data which is analyzed and distributed through mobile and web platforms.
